Who we are
The Former united form Church, built in 1824 was home and institution to many in Cannock, Staffordshire, with now 200 years of history
In 2024 it became home to Cannock’s only Specialty Coffee Roaster & Cafe space, Chapel Coffee.
Re-furbished, re-homed and renamed, we built out our first coffee shop & kitchen, focussing on high quality coffee, cake and food, the heart of the Church became our first service space and our goal of turning this once prosperous building into a community hub focused around specialty coffee, exquisite food, and personal service.
We lovingly named this space, Chapel.
Housed in a 200 year old church in the centre of Cannock, Chapel 1824 is an exciting new venture from Crown & Canvas Coffee Co owner Jake Allen.
“I wanted a chance to showcase a more personal touch of who we are outside of the framework of the roastery, which is a brand that represents more businesses than just our own. This was a new way to showcase our unique personalities, likes and style as a team through our branding, food, drink, creative marketing, themed iconography and design.
